  How many people did Satan kill in the Bible?

  for some reason i've been wondering about this lately.

  i've read the bible end to end many years ago, and i can't recall how many people satan personally struck down.

  i'm not talking about twisted reasonings and long term implications.

  Ear ache...help!

  for the past 24 hours ive had an ear ach in my right ear.

  my hearing is muffled and its starting to throb now.

  last saturday i went swimming in a lake and at first thought i had a case of swimmers ear.

  where, during the centuries following the new testament era, were the ancient counterparts to today's jws?

  according to the witnesses, the church fell into apostasy sometime after the apostolic era, and the truths of the bible were restored only in the late - nineteenth and early - twentieth centuries in their religion.. if this is so, we would expect to find some record of a religious group in the second or third century with views resembling at least somewhat of the jws.

  i attended my mother's memorial at the kingdom hall saturday afternoon.

  even with the jw sermon tagged on, my cousin did a lovely service for her.

  there were many jws and non-jws in attendence.

  Reading your post about the time you spent with your mom before she died convinces me that she would have been pleased there wasn't a scene in the Hall. You had every right to be at the get-together afterwards. You know this.

  You are better off without them all. They are infected with zealotry and bigotedness towards anyone who isn't enslaved to thier thought police. You are free. Rejoice that none of them knew your Mother as you did, and your uncle apparently.

  They cannot infect the sincerity of your love for your mother with thier conditional affections. Yours was an honest and unpolluted love for your mother.

  Rejoice in that and the fact that you have no need to talk to the morons again.

  The call came around 8 pm last night

  i called out to my soon to be ex, who now lives in different part of the house and told him to pick up the phone as it was his call.

  the sister and brother in law had just landed home from the district convention!!

  Remember, a creative day is some 7,000 years long. That would make each hour 292 years long. If we are in the final hours of the time of the end it could be 292 years before the end since thats the length of one hour.

  my good witness friend was trying to encourage me spiritually and this is what's being speculated among the witnesses.

  how long was adam alone before eve was created, well at least 31 years so far.

  1975 was the end of 6000 years of man's existence.. from 1975 to 2006, it is 31 years.. when was jesus ministry over?

  Let's see, 1975 plus my highest amount of magazines placed in one month (25) equals 2000 then you add in the pioneer hour requirement of 70 hours and subtract Knorrs shoe size, 11 1/2 and you get 2068 1/2. Take that and subtract the average age of a CO, about 56, and you get 2012 1/2. This is of course when the Mayan Calandar ends as we all know. Then its Eggmageddon.

  Coincidence? I think not. You must use your eyes of faith my Brothers and Sisters.

  i will try to make a long story short.

  me and my wife (faithful jw) had a problem with an evil pioneer sister elder's wife in our former hall.

  through the course of trying to work it out we decided we would be better off in another hall.

  Dansk,

  For me, being appointed is what really opened up my eyes. I saw the rotten core of the apple and it was enough for me to fade away. I appreciate that for some personalities the sense of power and authority can be intoxicating. Glad you weren't appointed then. I'm just glad I was because it was an awakening for me.

  Ok, how long before we fly off the handle and start blaming everyone for something we have little info on? This is my one complaint about the invective here towards the Society. Even legitimate tragedies like this deserve a little objectivity. Me thinks the mother should have kept better watchmbut as has been said here it only takes a few minutes. Eventually it will come out who's fully responsible, but in the mean time can't we just have empathy toward the Mother and her loss?

  Down with the Society, don't confuse my objectivity with a lack of dislike for the Washtowell and Bath Society.

  Trust me, they have an answer for that. Title's are often used towards individuals of different authority. In the long run, who cares? I know, you and probably others. If its all about winning battles I think its just another kind of warfare. Its one of the reasons religion turns my stomach these days.

  Everyone's an expert on what cannot really be known.
